1.Describe your Childhood in terms of your childhood Education.
There were many books for children or comics around me when I was very young.
Even though I couldn't read Japanese letters I could guess what was written in the books with the help of the interesting pictures, or sometimes my parents read them to me.
It must be very useful and helpful for children to try to read comics or children books even though they don't know Japanese letters.
I was able to learn Japanese letters by myself once I learned basic HIRAKANA letters.
The most important thing is to give an Interest to Children, then he or she will try to learn by themselves. Never to force your children to do something when he or she has no interests.
2.Are there any fields where early education seems to play an important role for the famous people who succeeded in their lives?
In the field of art, like musical plays and traditional Japanese plays, they start very early.
For example, the actors in Japanese traditional plays, Kabuki or Kyogen have started to learn the art from a very early ages. One reason is that it is the family business.
The children born in an artistic environment should learn the art very naturally.
It is the same for Shyogi or Go games and Figure Skating. They must start around 6 years old.
Because these kinds of skills need lots of practice, so they must start very early.
According to the old Japanese saying Children should start any kinds of enrichment when he/she becomes 6 years old.
On the other hand in the Painting or writing field, their start seems to be rather later.
Some painters or novelists come out or debut very late.
3.What do you think are the benefits or problems of early childhood intervention?
It is meaningless to divide education or non education in a child's ife.
Because for children every experience and information is a kind of education.
So we must give them best experiences and information. It may be the same for adult people.
And if he /she has some interests in one thing the parents should give them more information and give the motivation. For example, Listening to nice music, seeing interesting pictures and visiting beautiful mountains or the seaside.
Then they will learn, practice and study in a special area and they could gain new skills.
The most basic skills that every children must learn are to Read, to Write and to Calculate.
YOMI, KAKI, SOROBAN in an old Japanese saying.
Parents can teach and help their children to learn these skills naturally in everyday life.
